The Latteria Vipiteno cooperative was founded in 1884 with the purpose of collecting and processing milk from the surrounding farmers. Latteria Vipiteno is considered one of the largest yoghurt producers in Italy and has also been part of the market leaders for several years. Creamy spoon yoghurt made from the best milk from the cows in the mountains. That’s what makes the yoghurt from Sterzing so special.
-400 South Tyrolean and approx. 200 North Tyrolean farmers supply up to 170,000 litres of milk
-Processing of milk from the Wipp and Stubai Valley since 01.04.2014
-approx. 90% of the milk is used for yoghurt production
