Coffee, at the heart of a family life whose passion arises from the authentic flavours of Italian tradition. A love story starting in the early 80s in Rome in a small workshop intensely smelling freshly roasted coffee. The founders’ dreams were to create a company that could compete with the main coffee brands, always maintaining unmatched quality of the product. After almost forty years, GIMA Caffè is a premium brand, a regional leader with over 400 horeca clients and it’s quickly expanding in the foreign markets. Our portfolio covers 3 different product lines and it includes coffee beans, ground coffee, capsules and ESE pods in many different blends, including decaffeinated. One brand, many taste profiles for premium espresso, filter coffee, moka lovers. Our roastery, completely renewed in recent times, spreads on 2500 square meters of offices, production area, green coffee warehouse, research lab and a section entirely dedicated to training: our Master Espresso academy. At GIMA Caffè we greatly invest in the evolution of roasting techniques, hence our choice to direct important resources towards coffee processing and packaging improvement, with a cutting-edge roasting installation, insulated silos for the storage of both green and roasted coffee beans too. This has allowed us not only to stabilize our coffees with targeted roasting curves for each and every single origin (which we separately roast); but also to meet the needs of Italian and foreign markets, both in constant growth. The recent introduction of a line of single-origin coffees in 2021 shows the sensibility we have at GIMA Caffè for the latest trends of the coffee consumption and our complete openness towards innovation and the high-quality segment.
