Giuliano Caffé is an Italian artisanal coffee roaster focused on high quality blends and single origin coffees for the Ho.Re.Ca and the Retail Gourmet markets.

Its story began in 1950, when Michele Giuliano Albo became fascinated by the world of coffee and started studying it. He travelled to South America and Kenya, getting in touch with the Italian experts of that time and once back home he set up his roasting laboratory in Caluso, near Turin.

Nowadays, the Giuliano family keeps the same passion, their mission is to contribute to the culture of coffee by promoting a high quality product and an artisan roasting with attention on fine single origin coffees, and above all encouraging a new vision that focuses on coffee as a fruit of the earth and not simply as a commodity.

Giuliano Caffè, after 60 years of activity, focuses on four keywords: experience, tradition, artisan quality and innovation.

Selecting the finest green coffees available on the market and following its know-how, Giuliano Caffè roasts carefully small batches through a slow-roasting process to ensure the highest artisanal quality. Then, before packaging, all the blends rest for five days to fully develop aromas and flavours.

Giuliano Caffè is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and is awarded with the prestigious prize «MAESTRO DEL GUSTO» by Slow Food and Turin Chamber of Commerce, stating the high quality, excellent taste and artisanal care of its coffees. It is also a proud member of SCA, the Speciality Coffee Association, which aim is promoting the culture of excellence in coffee. 

We also have our own Coffee Academy to train our distributor’s baristas and product specialists into the science behind coffee.

We have two main product lines specific for the Ho.Re.Ca sector and the Retail Gourmet market.

Our Ho.Re.Ca Line is composed by four conventional blends and one organic blend:

1. Virtuosa: Fruity and delicate, 100% finest Arabica Coffee;
2. Adagio: Aromatic and delicate, 90% selected Arabica coffees;
3. Concerto: Sweet and gentle, 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta;
4. Vivace: Intense and medium-bodied, classical Italian taste, 50% Arabica and 50% Robusta.
5. Virtuosa BIO: Delicate and intense, 100% Arabica Coffee

Our blends come along with a very appealing accessories line for the Ho.Re.Ca market. All high quality

Made in Italy products specifically created to turn the coffee moment into an emotion.

Our Retail Gourmet Line is composed by:  

1. Three blends  (Virtuosa, Virtuosa BIO and Vivace)– available in a 250 gr vintage natural paper packaging (beans and ground)
2. Several single origins – available in a 250 gr vintage natural paper packaging (only beans) 

We also have a refined line of Specialty Coffee with the brand Orso Laboratorio Caffè.
