The Company was born in 2014 as a natural evolution of the first company of Mauro Aprea, creator of Acqua di Sardegna brand (2008).

The manufacturer activity is based in Alghero, Italy. Perfect place for a producer that wants to represent the Sardinian soul and Made in Italy style.  

The company has now three collection with a total of 58 items. 

Mauro is not only the Owner of Officina Profumiera Sarda, but also the creative mind behind all the brands Acqua di Sardegna, Sandalia,  and moreover Natural Sardinia (hotel amenities) and MAMOI (sardninan cork’s bags).

Acqua di Sardegna’s story begins with a seafaring man. His name is Mauro Aprea.

Mauro discovered Sardinia little by little, a pearl in the heart of the Mediterranean. A land where the wind seems to breathe life into the rocks and people choose their words carefully.

One day, as he watched from a promontory resembling a sleeping giant, Mauro realised that he had fallen in love with this land. He decided to change everything and come to live here, in Alghero, a small town made of limestone and coral, resting on the sea front. 

People in love at times need to communicate what they are feeling.                                                                       Some use words, some use music or pictures….                                                                                                   Mauro decided to express it with PERFUMES
