We are a family business founded by three brothers: Edoardo, Emanuele e Gianna. Our story is one of perseverance and love for our land that started almost 30 years ago in Salento, the Southernmost part of Italy. We are I Contadini and we make preserves and pickles, using fresh produce, grown locally, sown and harvested by hand. We use integrated production techniques, which means respecting the seasonality of crops and the life cycle of the plants. All processing stages – from harvesting, to preparation and bottling – are carried out by our skilled artisans who know traditional techniques to preserve authentic tastes.
Tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and zucchini are dried naturally under the burning Salento sun and 100% naturally preserved. We add only wholesome, natural ingredients: lemon juice from Calabria, unrefined Trapani salt, and apple cider vinegar from Trentino region. Quality is our daily choice.
Our newly-launched product line, Pesto and Sauces, offers a wide choice of ready-to-eat products made with artichokes, zucchini and eggplants, combined with 24-month Aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Bronte Pistachios, Almonds from Puglia and fresh basil. We have brought to our customers our world, our know-how and products in one format: I Contadini Concept Store, that is kitchen, coffee shop and store where our clients can enjoy a unique, authentic food experience.
The search for excellence and attention to our work, together with care for the environment  and respect for our roots are the key pillars that guide us every day in our project. Our dream comes true every time there is someone who falls in love with our products at the very first bite!
