Aumatech is located in San Salvo, in the province of Chieti, in the Abruzzo Region, Italy, was founded in 2011 by Marco Monaco, Luigi Ciancaglini and Luigi Tereo, all with twenty years of experience in the design and construction of machines for the automotive industry. The company has always focused on technological research and on the choice of local suppliers with specific know-how to gain customer confidence. Today, Aumatech machines for the production of windscreens, backlites, fuel tanks, exterior plastic components for cars and vessels in composite materials are sold in Europe, Brazil, China, Russia and the United States and are used by the most important car manufacturers. Each machine is designed and manufactured in-house and tested in front of the customer, with the guarantee of installation and assistance in any country in the world. The decision to invest even when the market was in crisis and did not support the growth rates of the company, proved to be successful: thanks to the constant increase in turnover and personnel, the construction of a new plant in 2017 was necessary.
In Aumatech we deeply care about the future of our planet, and we always ask ourselves: how sustainable is the mobility we work for? We believe that our contribute to sustainability can always be improved, so we turned our attention into new, greener paths. Our expertise in tank systems for fossil fuels or service liquids, such as urea, better known under the name ‘AdBlue’, gave us inspiration to look at gas cylinders. We are referring to Composite Pressure Vessels (CPV) Type IV, carring a leading-edge technology in terms of safety, lightness, and durability. Our deep experience in the assembly field for the automotive industry, took us to assembly solutions designing for battery packs and electric motors. These green mobility solutions, together with the ecofriendly approach applied in our business processes, allowed us to attain in 2021 the BRONZE rating level for ESG criteria by Ecovadis auditing company.
