Bedding Atelier a company that designs and produces customised furniture solutions, a “atelier” tailor who has been making handmade products in Italy since 1970.

We design and manufacture sofas, armchairs, beds and sofa beds, also in collaboration with interior design and architecture studios around the world; with the continuous search for innovative materials to always best meet the needs of our valued customers. Thanks to our know-how, experience and knowledge of international markets, bedding atelier today can be regarded as the world’s leading company in its sector.

The beginnings of the brand bedding  can be traced back to the 1970s, with the meeting of three entrepreneurs: Mario, Massimo and Fabrizio, who gave rise to the bedding patents which specialises in soft folding seats that convert comfortably into single beds.

This was the time of the first encounters with renowned professionals, such as architects Carlo De Carli, Andrea Branzi and Clino Castelli. A good story with the most famous studio in the world “Ettore Sottsass Jr” and the English group Dillon, Malcum Allum and George Sowden, to name a few.

In the 1980s, the company changed direction, moving closer to the ‘classic’ style, which is still used today. bedding atelier identifies and is recognised.
