Born in 1950, Caffè Haiti Roma is a historic roasting company based in Rome, Italy, that produces high quality coffee blends in beans, ground and in compostable pods, following the artisanal method worth of the best maestro roasters. Starting from the concept of a perfect espresso, we have developed, implemented and improved a production process along many years of experience and passionate research. In this exclusive system, it is through the careful direction of each processing stage that we achieve our very high-quality standards. The result is that “delight in the cup” appreciated both in Italy and abroad, an espresso that makes sipping coffee a unique experience: this has been the mission of our roasting company right from the start. Having a long heritage and mastership in producing traditional blends, in the early 2000s the company was among the first ones in Italy to create a line of certified 100% Organic & 100% Fairtrade espresso coffees, able to comply with our attention to an ethical and sustainable world. Being among the first Italian proposals in the world of Organic and Fairtrade, BioCaffè has reached at once a great success: it has been certified by the International Espresso Institute as Italian Quality Espresso, and was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Coffee Tasting Asia 2015 and Milan 2020 editions.
