The Colva Group was established in the beginning of the seventies as fur garments manufacturers. The production is made entirely in Italy, using the highest skilled craftsmen which has enabled us to establish our name not only Italy but in many other foreign market.
Colva has a company who purchases the raw material from the International Fur Auctions and direct from source with a dedicated broker who understands the exacting requirements of our production need.

The dressing and dying of the skins is carried out by one of the world’s leading tanneries based in Milan, Italy; this enables us to work in close collaboration on new processes to enhance new fashion trends. Style and elegance have always represented the soul of Colva and this features, together with the reinterpretation of the fur, opens up to urban and modern contamination, towards research and experimentation without forget the ancient manufacturing tradition.

Leaving this philosophy born the idea for a new woman mood and Colva starts with the production of overwear made with cashmere and half cashmere double, branded Loro Piana, finish with all kind of fur. This new way to make fur, trough new elaboration, various inlay technique, research and innovation offer to our customer a large choice with the possibility of very interesting mix and match of the different materials to build exclusives custom – made goods. Colva collections are the results of an imaginative and careful stylistic research, carried out internally in the company with the collaboration of the most important designers. Every new model and idea are being studied in the styling studio, directed and controlled by Sonia Vaccari, which can be considered one of the most important experts worldwide in the field of fur tailoring.

At our facility in Ferrara, every aspect of the manufacturing process is scrutinized so that our clients can be assured that deliveries will be of the highest standard.
