Since 1964 Bigucci oil has been synonymous with quality and goodness. From a modern cultural and social intuition of Bruno Bigucci, our father, we have arrived at the present day.

Replacing butter with extra virgin olive oil in the kitchen was a real nutritional change.

Since then, innovation has always characterised the company handed down from father to son.

We are located at the foot of the rolling hills of Romagna, on the border between two regions where the cultivation of olive trees also benefits from the mild influence of the sea and gives the oil its characteristic aromas and flavours.

Francesco Bigucci was the first to join the company, alongside our father and mother, then came his sister Federica Bigucci, Francesco’s wife Anna and now their son Riccardo, who represents the third generation!

We are a small family business but we have succeeded in spreading our product over a vast area, becoming a reference point for quality oils, which we have looked after and studied over the years, as demonstrated by the numerous awards we have received at national and international level.

The leap in quality came with the purchase of the oil mill in 2003, with millstones, fulfilling a dream of our father’s, to be able to select and produce cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil directly. Our olives, at the right degree of ripeness, come from selected local and national companies and are processed within a few hours of harvesting, one of the fundamental steps to have a quality oil.

This is the only way to obtain a product with unmistakable scents and flavours, which have nature inside.

In 2017 we inaugurated a second oil mill, this time with the latest generation of continuous cycle technology technologically perfect to ensure an even higher quality product and also valid for producing organic oil, all extracted cold.

Participation in competitions and the results obtained have given us further confirmation of the validity of our path, together with a renewal of our image, from the logo to the labels and bottles, to keep up with the times.

Last but not least, our new italian-english e-commerce site opened in December 2020.
