In the distant 1970s, Mr. Vincenzo Pace decided to pursue his passion for olive oil, encouraged by relatives and friends. This is how he began to sell his olive oil outside the small town of Avigliano, in the Basilicata region, to make it known in the territory.

For the past 50 years Olio Pace has been the brand of choice of Italian families for extra virgin olive oil. With a history spanning over 3 generations, the company is now a dynamic and strong player, able to meet and exceed its consumers needs with a wide range of high-quality products. The strategic approach to manage and control the whole supply chain paves the way to high quality productions.

By sourcing only the finest olives and applying a rigorous transformation methods, we ensure that only the highest quality products are being offered to our consumers. Our EVO are all obtained by the rigorous application of cold-pressed technique and are certified for the highest quality.

Every Olive Oil line differs in taste due to the different characteristics of the olives variety used in the process and also due to the different production techniques adopted. 

Product innovation: De-stoning 

After leading a research study in collaboration with the University of Basilicata, Naples and Florence, we launched the innovative technique of DE-STONING, which entails the initial separation of the stone from the olive and the cold-pressing transformation of the pulp into olive oil. The outcome results in an olive oil richer in antioxidants and Vitamin E. 

The golden rule to spot an excellent extra virgin oil is to understand it from its label. Our label acts as Olive Oil “identity card” where we list the useful information to allow the consumer to trace and track the origin of the product and assess the high quality of the olive oil.

Today, more than 30,000 families in Italy share the pleasure of tasting the extra virgin olive oil of Frantoio Oleario Pace.
