The Gelati Valbrenta was born in 1950 in Grantorto in the province of Padova. The artisan industry specializes in the production of ice cream, a passion passed down from generation to generation.
In recent years the production has assumed an industrial proportions although it remained artisanal in the choices of mixing and preparations of ice cream.
Today, the industry, thanks to new tecnologies attuated and thanks to a large variety of products, is going to expanding even more, both in the national territory both in the foreign territory.
The artisanal assurance is due to the choice of raw materials strictly naturals and fresh and, if possible, found in the nearby, in order to make more easily the control of the production chain.
In fact, as can be easily verify, the main base of our products is the fresh whole milk high quality in the ice creams based on milk or fruits in the ice creams based on fruit; for example in the FIOR DI LATTE ice cream creamed the composition of ingredients is the following:
- Fresh whole milk high quality 57%,
- Fresh cream 17%
- Rehydrated skimmed milk
- Egg yolk
- Invert sugar
- Vegetable fats
- Emulsifiers and stabilisers
The whole secured by an industrial process given by:
- Processing of product
- storage and conservation
The observance of cold chain is secured by ample space that the company has.
Great attention, furthermore, lends itself to food safety.
The establishment of production adopts:
- the auto-control plan HACCP in full respect of the regulation CE 852/2004, that plan provides the evaluation of the whole working cycle and the supplier qualification;
- a procedure of TRACEABILITY according to the Regulation CE 178/2002.
Over the last few years, Gelati Valbrenta, has achieved the following certifications: FSSC 22000, VEGAN OK.
It is also preparing the following cerifications: BIO, IFS, BRC.
