Cultivating passion is the first step to being able to also cultivate plants. And it is thanks to the passion that first Enzo Margheriti, and then his sons David and Alberto, have made Margheriti Piante what it is today. Born from modest patches of hilly land, today Margheriti Piante is a leading company in the Italian and European nursery sector, operating in 30 countries worldwide, from England to Lebanon, from Portugal to Azerbaijan. Initially specialised in the production of Mediterranean plants, today Margheriti Piante boasts a collection of more than 2,600 different plant species: from conifers to cacti, from perennials to the most diverse palms and large broad-leaved trees. One of our strengths is precisely our ability to process and market mature plants that are always available for transport and planting. Our company covers an area of 350 hectares, two-thirds of which are cultivated in open ground and the remainder in pots, including plants of all ages and sizes. This, together with the large variety of species available and a dense sales and relational network developed through hard work over the years, allows us to offer our customers a wide choice and the possibility to satisfy the most diverse requirements. It is precisely our customer focus and the strenuous quest to meet their needs that are some of our greatest strengths, and a determining factor in allowing us to develop high-level relational networks. These, over time, have led us to contribute to the realisation of green works of absolute national and international standing.
