Five generations of history and traditions and a long commitment in the organic production, respecting the genuineness of the wine and the high quality of the grapes. These are the solid roots of La Cantina Pizzolato, the biggest organic family-owned company in Italy, that celebrated in 2021 the 40th anniversary of its organic farming choice.

Mr. Settimo Pizzolato, company founder and owner, is authentically a pioneer in organic wine production and organic estate management in Italy, – all wines are certified organic since 1991 and vegan since 2012 -.

Located in NE Italy, in the heart of the Prosecco DOC area, the whole Pizzolato Estate speaks the Organic language. The Winery, completely build with eco-friendly materials, has recently been claimed among the 30th most beautiful Italian wineries.

The core values environment, research and sustainability daily inspire the Pizzolato Team to improve winemaking techniques always aiming at a good quality and more eco-friendly wines, respecting the cycles of nature and refusing the use of any chemical product, with a broader view on sustainable packaging.

Among all Pizzolato wines, the project of PIWI wines (fungus resistant varietals) deserves a special notice: these wines embody company’s philosophy and its goal of going beyond organic to leave a better planet for future generations.
