Salumificio Val Rendena is specialized in the production of Carne Salada, Speck, Salami and other typical products of the most spectacular Italian region of the alps: Trentino. The secret of our quality is a family story that began in 1947 in a small village called Vigo Rendena. From then on, we have been working everyday with passion in order to offer the highest quality products with a unique and unmistakable taste. The production plants, modern and technologically advanced, allow a logic and rational working process with an overall improvement of production techniques. Always focusing on the company goal to grant maximum quality of our products for the best satisfaction of our customers. Carne Salada is the most typical Trentino’s cold cut and it is produced with the leanest beef rumps. They rest for fifteen days in a mix of salt, spices and herbs that together with the meat’s water form a very distinctive brine. It is delicious served in very thin slices accompanied by a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil but you can also add parmigiano, rocket, mushrooms and all the fruit, vegetables or cheeses that you like. Our plants are powered by renewable energy thanks to the innovative photovoltaic system that has already avoided the emission of more than a thousand tons of CO2. Moreover, our high-performance cogeneration plant is powered by natural gas in order to permit a low environmental impact. We eagerly pursue products process traceability as regulated by the health and safety department as well as the voluntary certifications such as Halal and IFS Food.
