Union Srl was founded in 1986 in Alberobello (BA) by the Casulli family.

After the success in the clothing industry and in particular in the production of extremely prestigious women’s garments – for fashion houses like Prada, Marni, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Ermanno Scervino,  Versace – in 2007 the company opens the doors to the agrifood industry and creates “Nonna Mariangela” and “Terre dei Trulli” brands.

Union Srl opted to pay more and more attention to the food industry with the aim of ensuring a professional and flowless global service in the production and marketing of quality products – thanks to the internal administrative organization, reliability and efficiency of its transport line and of in-depth knowledge of raw materials, above all.

As proof of this, Union Srl has won significant awards over the years, while investing and implementing quality and food safety management system with BRC, IFS, VeganOk, BIO and Halal and Kosher certifications. 

The company management gives great importance to tradition, aiming at developing it in line with time and trends, without distorting it.

With “Terre dei Trulli” and “Nonna Maringela” brands, the company currently collaborates with several large-scale distribution and HO.RE.CA entities in Italy. The exports are constantly growing and today they represent 60% of turnover across Europe and the world.

Nonna Mariangela brand was born from the passion for the Apulian tradition and for international cuisine. The brand has immediately engaged to produce frozen products, such as traditional dishes, panzerottini, arancini, croquettes, but also bakery products, such as taralli, crostini and mini breadsticks. 

Nonna Mariangela is also certified for the preparation of Halal ready-made dishes and bakery goods.

Terre dei Trulli pays tribute to the bakery tradition of Alberobello – the Unesco heritage site where the company has its origin – with taralli, tarallini, tocchetti, bruchettas, dry pasta in traditional and special formats and the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

The products faithfully reflect the ancient Apulian recipes, tank to the thorough selection of local raw materials and the use of genuine and certified production methods.
